NetEase You, NetEase’s home goods and decore brand, partnered up with NetEase Cloud Music to launch a second lifestyle-music store in Hangzhou, called “a salute to life.” The store has 16 displays with 16 theme songs, taking visitors through ages of vinyl and cassettes to modern times.

Yinyuetai Rumored to Go Bankrupt
Yinyuetai.com, Chinese music lover’s very first memory of music, stopped functioning. The webpage doesn’t open; videos don’t play; its mobile app also malfunctions. Yinyuetai’s Weibo account was sold to a shoe manufacturer. According to music bloggers on Weibo, Yinyuetai sold its Weibo account in November and told its management to seek employment elsewhere.

Tencent released a mobile app called Guess Song Planet, a free gaming application that allows advancement by guessing the name of the song. The application has relatively weak social features.
