Chinese podcast and streaming app Lizhi submitted IPO documents in the US on October 25 and is considering raising about 100 million US dollars through this IPO. If the IPO goes through, Lizhi will become the first Chinese podcast company listed in the US, before its competitor, Himalaya FM. Lizhi’s investors include smartphone maker Xiaomi, Shunwei Capital and Matrix Partners China. Lizhi raised $50 million in its last funding round in 2018.
